About Daniel Hedrick

Daniel got his first camera, and his first Mac back in 1987, and dove into videography and editing in 1990. In 1993 he was fairly well-known for his ability to craft fake ID’s for his college buddies, but has since moved on to bigger and better (and more legal) things. Starting as a graphic artist for a small sign shop in downtown Portland, he’s held positions as a print press operator at a corrugated box plant, a dispatcher and inventory control manager at a moving company, and a webmaster/photographer/videographer/video editor/Flash designer/tech support geek and digital signage content manager for the largest plumbing wholesaler in the world. And those are just the jobs that pay the rent. On the side, he’s designed brochures, logos, and websites; shot senior photos, corporate headshots, weddings, funerals, and other events (both photo and video;) edited two books, shot the cover art for one of them, and even started writing one of his own.

When he’s not working or freelancing, he enjoys hiking and camping. He also enjoys fishing, but hasn’t done much catching lately. Must be something in the water. He currently resides in central Montana with a shepherd mix named Diego.
